Siskiyou Sungrown was initially founded in 2014, but their story dates back much further. For Cedar and Madrone Grey, it began as a long-standing appreciation for the therapeutic power of cannabis. This appreciation evolved into a personal quest to assist family members facing critical health issues many years ago.
The Greys embraced organic farming and extraction methods, pursuing the creation of the purest and most potent cannabis product possible: whole plant, organic ethanol-extracted, decarboxylated cannabis oil. Initially, they operated within the legal medical cannabis framework (OMMP), supplying medical dispensaries directly, meticulously crafting, selling, and distributing their unique cannabis oil to approved patients. As a result of the advent of recreational cannabis use in 2016, Siskiyou Sungrown, now a thriving enterprise with a staff of twelve and two farms, expanded their customer base to include state-licensed dispensaries.
Today, Siskiyou Sungrown sets the industry standard for cannabis wellness products, earning numerous awards for sustainability and product quality. A dedicated team of twenty professionals collaborates in farming, processing, and distributing cannabis products to over 300 dispensaries throughout Oregon, as well as hemp CBD products, which are available nationwide. Notably, Cedar Grey has been appointed by Governor Brown as one of nine Oregon Cannabis Commissioners, providing guidance to agencies regarding the state medical program, research, social equity, and more.
