Summary Grown – Sustainably
Located near Portland, OR, Summary’s custom-built vertical garden uses sustainable LED lighting on an organic produce and equine facility. The farm carefully selects phenotyped cultivars with unique terpene profiles, offering exciting tastes and experiences.
Summary exclusively use an OMRI-approved Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. Their water is well-drawn onsite from Bull Run and recycled to support the pastures. Prior to harvest the flower, an extended flush is performed on the plants to remove any leftover nutrient buildup from the roots and soil. Thereafter, the flower is slow-dried, hand-trimmed, and glass-cured to obtain their top-shelf quality.
The farm began producing medical marijuana in 2014, serving Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) patients. After legalization in 2015, Summary transitioned to OLCC recreational marijuana. Since then, the 80-acre family-owned farm has diversified to include fruit orchards, produce gardens, horses, cattle, hay, and chickens.
