Strain Review – Grape Ape

Grape Ape is a cannabis strain popular throughout the Pacific Northwest, and for good reason. This particular crop of Grape Ape contains almost every hue of the color spectrum, and is positively dripping with medicinal trichomes. As you might expect, hints of grape flavor permeate the air around these flowers. The nugs are neatly trimmed, not very leafy, and beautifully colored.

So what does our staff have to say about this strain? The consensus is very positive, with comments focusing on the sweet taste and mellow effects of the Grape Ape. It seems to be the perfect strain if you’re looking to stay cozy indoors this winter, to relax, get creative, or stay productive while at home. All in all we give it 7 out of 7 stars. This is one strain that definitely should not be missed.

Grape Ape has a long and rich history, originating from heavy indica Afghani genetics crossed with Mexican and South American landrace strains. It is a delicious blend of Afghani and Skunk #1 with the added fruity flavors associated with Mendo Purps. The effect of the flower is definitely mellow and relaxing, but powerful enough to assist with most chronic pain issues. It’s a great strain to take your mind off your troubles; the sweet exhale brings with it happy thoughts and removal of tension.

The Grape Ape strain fingerprint shows that the strain usually lies within 15-23% THC. Our particular crop certainly tested on the high end of the spectrum, coming out at an impressive 23.5% THC.
